A big thank you to David Bartholomew for sending us this article about the early days of Pottery Supplies, from 1972.
He found it when tidying up some books of his mothers, from the May 10 1972 Courier Mail.
Pottery supplies had just opened in a house in Given Terrace, and I quote from David's email,
Pottery Supplies had just opened, in a house in Given Terrace, Paddington - see the handwritten address across the top in response to a call to the number in the article (only a 6 digit number at that time). My mother and I started pottery at the same time and I am still buying my supplies from you - probably several owner's and more than a few years later!
David is the Vice President and Promotions of Western Suburbs Clayworkers, at the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre.
