Keane’s Red Earth is inspired by the naturally bright and raw earthy colour tones of Central Australia. This natural beauty has a smooth yet sturdy clay body, making it a suitable for both throwing and slab work.
Glaze:
The Keane Red Earth ideal glaze firing temperature is cone 6 (1222˚). When firing this clay to its desired temperature, you are left with natural burnt red tone which is what most potters are captivated by. Keane’s Red Earth is a perfect clay body to show off bright and earthy glazes.
