KEANE Mid Fire No 6 is a smooth white plastic body great for domestic ware and medium size hand building. It has an excellent glaze fit with all commercial mid fire glazes.
The feel and smoothness of this clay makes it ideal for throwing. Customers currently using this body also have had great success with slab rolling and slumping domestic ware.
Shrinkage at Cone 6: 13% wet to fired
Porosity at Cone 6: 0.5% to 1%
