Keane’s Red Terracotta (KC530) is a fine red terracotta clay with the addition of oxide to produce a richer finish. A beautiful clay body for wheel work and also suitable for hand building. Fires to a rich red terracotta colour when glaze fired to 1100c.
Excellent choice for domestic ware applications where a fine surface texture is desirable. Note that absorption rate is 8% at cone 03.
