Keane’s Porcelain is a smooth, strong, white porcelaineous stoneware clay body. It has very good throwing and joining properties, making it a good option for hand building projects. Firing white in oxidation and blue grey in reduction. This clay has translucent properties and has been formulated to promote a good glaze fit with traditional Chinese glazes such as celadons and chuns. It vitrifies at cone 10 with an absorption rate of <0.5%.
