Walker/Cesco Mandarin Spangle Gloss glaze in powder form with a firing range of 1280-1300C (stoneware)
This glaze will fire variegated orange with mottles of cream.
Food safe – no lead frit is used in this product.
Instructions from the manufacturer are as follows:
Recommended proportions is to start with 1150ml of water to 1kg powder. Use a suitable mask and gloves. Add the desired amount of water to a suitably sized bucket and then sprinkle the glaze powder into it whilst stirring it in. Leave to settle overnight and then pour through a sieve of 80 mesh or finer. The desired consistency is somewhat thicker than full cream milk.
