This oval wooden mold is made by GR Pottery Forms in Michigan, USA – a company well known for their quality cut and beveled fibreboard wood drape molds that are durable and easy to use over and over again.
This oval wooden mold is 12.5cm wide x 20cm long. This form has a 45 degree beveled edge and about 1.9cm thickness. It’s the perfect size for spoon rests, trinkets and sweets, or to hold your keys.
Tips for use (from the manufacturer):
- Forms are made of wood, so to ensure they last for thousands of uses make sure you let them dry in between each use.
- Clay should be left on the forms until it is stiff, leather hard. If left on for too long the clay will crack and the wood will get mouldy or start to get soft.
- Mould can easily be washed off with dish soap, if edges get rough they can be smoothed with sand paper.
