A pink iron-bearing clay. Suitable for a range of throwing and handbuilding applications. Firing brown grey in oxidation to chocolate with metallic finish in reduction.
Note:Â Stoneware 9 is a great choice to give your glazes a completely different look.
Bisque fire to 1000C (Orton cone 06). Glaze fire to 1280-1300C (Orton cone 10).
Shrinkage wet to glaze fired at cone 10 is 15%. Absorption after glaze firing to cone 10 is <1%
