Keane’s Stoneware 9 is a pink iron-bearing clay. Suitable for a range of throwing and handbuilding applications. It’s low absorption rate of <1% after glaze firing makes it a good choice for functional wares or projects that need high viscosity. Firing brown grey in oxidation to chocolate with metallic finish in reduction. It’s a great choice of clay body to give your glazes a completely different look.
