This fireclay contains approximately 30% of 30+ mesh minerals, primarily quartz and micas. Fireclay can be used for adding heat resistance, strength and higher structural durability to clay bodies – this is particularly useful when making large forms and hand building. Fires to a flecked buff colour. Suitable up to stoneware temperatures.
